   Well, it would certainly go a long way in making the heads of the Rightwing explode in furor. While Republicans generally fawn over any GOP member of color, Colin Powell didn’t play the good little foot soldier to the satisfaction of the GOP, so its unlikely that new spineless Maverick would pick him. Not to mention, Powell is only a year younger than the senior senator from Arizona, so he certainly doesn’t help with the age thing.
