Blackburn Asserts She Was More Against The Income Tax Than Leatherwood

Posted on June 10, 2008 at 1:25 pm

Marsha Blackburn sits down with radio talker Mike Slater and discusses her Republican primary challenger’s lack of fight during the Tennessee Income Tax debate while both were in the state Senate.

Blackburn asserts that she was out on the front lines fighting the good fight while her opponent was “sitting quietly back in his office voting ‘no’.”

Well that was then, now she is a big PORKER, voting those earmarks left and right. I wish she would Take the Bridge to NoWhere instead of voting for it.

Mickey, I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Blackburn did lead the fight and everyone will tell you that. Leatherwood has been characterized over and over again as a back room kind of guy.
Marsha represents my values and has voted for them in congress as she did in the state senate (even if she didn’t represent my district)

Nope. Can’t say that I am.
I’m a Virgo though and i enjoy dinner by candle light and long slow walks on the beach.

    Why do you ask?
