YouTube Follows Tennessee Flack To New England

Posted on June 9, 2008 at 9:06 am

Former Harold Ford, Jr. for Senate Communications Director Carol Andrews is catching a bit of flack up in Maine, where she runs the communications shop for Tom Allen for U.S. Senate, for her actions during the 2006 race and her past associations with the political consulting firm of Fletcher, Rowley, Chao and Riddle.

UPDATE: Liz Garrigan reacts:

Among Tennessee media (and now Maine’s), she is perhaps the most reviled political communications operative in recent memory. Combative and heavy-handed, Andrews was a liability to Ford, who was more accessible to national media than statewide media during his failed Senate run. That was no doubt at least one reason why he was the only Democrat running for an open Senate seat not to be elected.
