Bob Tuke’s Senate Sweatshop

Campaign manager Ben Chao isn’t the only member of the Bob Tuke for Senate crew willing to put in work for a low price. Lynne Edgerton, who pondered a U.S. Senate run herself, fills me in via Facebook:

“Ben Chao is not the only person who so strongly believes that Bob Tuke should be Tennessee’s Senator that he is working for free. Lynne Todd Edgerton, the campaign’s Treasurer and General Counsel, is also working pro bono, because she knows Tuke is as smart as a whip, a committed patriot, and a committed steward of Tennessee’s environment and of the global environment. Tuke himself has devoted untold hours to volunteer activities over his life. Our state is the “volunteer” state, so why it is so foreign to Alexander’s supporters that Tennesseans would volunteer to support a candidate they believe in beats me.”
