Mark your calendars now for Saturday, July 26 for the Statesmen’s Dinner. Along with the leadership of our State Executive Committee’s Finance Committee, I am pleased to announce a reduction in ticket pricing for general admission. Invitations will be in your mailboxes during the next few days.

The Tennessee Republican Party is honored to have Senator Howard Baker, Senator Bill Brock and Governor Winfield Dunn serving as the Honorary Co-Chairmen with Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam as the dinner Chairman as we acknowledge our work in “Taking the Hill,” the party’s theme since August of 2007.

No mention of “MC” Karl Rove as the keynote speaker. Are they keeping this a surprise or did the “Architect” pull out of the gathering?

UPDATE: Bill Hobbs tells me that Karl Rove is still the Keynote.
