Jennifer Brooks profiles TNGOP spokesman Bill Hobbs and his penchant for creating controversy:

“I think you either love him or you hate him,” said longtime Tennessee blogger Blake Wylie. “Some politicians don’t like people who throw bombs, and there seem to be several instances where the pot is being stirred, and it’s Bill Hobbs who’s doing the stirring.”

    They left some relevant stuff out of that story. I know the answers on this one, but so often when I read a Tennessean story, I’m left with so many unaswered questions that I wonder why they made such a halfhearted effort in the first place. But it isn’t a bad story, could be worse, and the photos are good.
