The Politico’s Jonathan Martin reviews the Tennessee Democratic Party’s YouTube welcoming of John McCain to Nashville:

Playing off the Tennessee GOP’s much-buzzed-about YouTube “welcome’ of Michelle Obama to Tennessee, Volunteer State Dems offer their own homemade greeting to John McCain.

The two spots, as primitive as they may be, actually strike directly at what could decide this election: If it’s a referendum on Barack Obama and Republicans can portray him (and his wife) as unpalatable to middle America, they can win.

If it’s about the current political environment and whether the country wants to elect another Republican after two Bush terms, Democrats probably can’t lose.
