Mule Day Remix
By Kleinheider Posted on May 29, 2008 at 2:07 pmFrom the AP:
Democrats have wasted little time kicking off what could be a steady flow of negative advertising from both parties this legislative campaign season.
The state Democratic Party has sent out 15,000 direct mail pieces targeting Republican Rep. Tom DuBois of Columbia. The flier criticizes DuBois for both sponsoring anti-drunken driving legislation and hosting a Mule Day party that allegedly served underage drinkers.

I didn’t get one of those mail pieces, but my mother got one, so she brought it over and we studied it and decided they had darkened his photo to try to make him look grungy. The Democrat they’re putting up against him looks like a baby — and naturally is a firefighter, because, for some reason, the firefighters are trying to take over everything in Tennessee.
