School Board candidate Alan Coverstone says Metro students need more extracurricular activities:

“For me, that was being on the debate team. For someone else, it might be being in the band, for someone else, it might be theater, you know, whatever activity, and they ought to be able to get to where that is. And we have some kids that don’t have that choice, you know, because of where they’re zoned, where they go and where they live they don’t have the opportunity to participate in some of those activities.”
