Retiring School Board Candidate Endorses

Posted on May 16, 2008 at 3:50 pm

Blogger candidate Alan Coverstone takes a hit in his race for school board:

The race for Bellevue’s soon-to-be-vacated school board seat is a crowded one, with five candidates running to come to the table when current District 9 board member Marsha Warden steps down this fall.

But Warden said Thursday that she’s endorsing one candidate, Lee Limbird, and will be volunteering to assist with Limbird’s campaign starting with today’s Bellevue Community Picnic.

Considering the number of people who qualified to run in that district you have to believe that much of it is due to discontent with Marsha Warden. If Limbird makes a big deal about being the heir-apparent to Warden it’s Limbird who will suffer not Coverstone.
