   Since when is holding someone accountable for the very words that came out of their mouth a smear tactic? Michelle Obama made the comment about being proud of her country for the first time in her adult life. Pointing that fact out is not a smear.

   I suppose JB is technically correct, this wasn’t an example “smear” tactics. It was an example of inane, childish distraction tactics in lieu of anything substantive, intellectually offensive to anyone capable of rubbing two neurons together.
