Frist Focuses On The Homeland

After a day of looking globally, Senator Bill Frist gets to thinking locally recounting his mission of mercy in supporting the Republican candidate for state House in District 62:

It was a terrific night with a tremendous crowd and lots of energy! I was so glad to be a part of this effort. Barbara is exactly the type of person we need representing Shelbyville in our Tennessee State House and she is exactly the type of candidate who VOLPAC will support in every way possible. She shares our values and has a long history of involvement in her community and our Party. Barbara is president of Rotary Club of Shelbyville, served for four years as chairman of Bedford County Republican Party and four years as vice-chairman. She currently serves as State Senatorial District 16 committee woman for the state party and as secretary of the Bedford County Republican Women.

The Democratic candidate in District 62 is incumbent Rep. Curt Cobb, a member of the Bill Dunn Five.
