David Oatney wants to know who U.S. Senate candidate Mike Padgett’s political influences are:

He also said he was an “Appalachian conservative Democrat.” In the mold of who, Mike? Who is Mike Padgett’s great political example-as the conservative that he was just on the radio claiming to be? Since Padgett himself has made this claim, I think it is a fair question to ask: To whom can we look to as a comparison for Mike Padgett’s political philosophy?
