Jama Oliver reports that Rep. Matthew Hill’s reelection campaign kickoff hit a snag when the legislator had to stay in Nashville longer than anticipated due to the Capitol Hill Chaos set off when Rep. Bill Dunn tried to bring a controversial abortion resolution to the floor of the state house:

Representative Hill was unfortunately stuck in Nashville until 4 o’clock this afternoon due to a hold-up on SJR 127 (which did make it to the floor this afternoon - sort of). Hill was able, however, to address supporters via telephone and officially announced his bid for reelection.
