The Jackson Sun approves of the changes Lamar Alexander seeks to make to the GI Bill:

The proposed changes to the GI Bill also will allow military veterans to transfer their earned education credits to spouses and children.

It is time for this legislation. The nation owes this much to our veterans for their service to our country. They have earned these education credits and should be able to use them for themselves and for their immediate family members. This is a great, and long overdue, improvement to the GI Bill.
