Clark Stooksbury gives kudos to Barack Obama for opposing John McCain’s idea for gas tax holiday:

Good for him. After we exit from the Iraq disaster, the most important issues that the country faces will be resource and environment related. We won’t make any headway with politicians feeding voters fairy tales about cheap fuel.

Senator Lamar Alexander is also on record in opposition to this proposal which, as it turns out, wouldn’t affect Tennesseans anyway.
